Whether you are new to the field, a seasoned professional or an office manager, this workshop will help you understand the basics of billing. ICD codes and modifiers, CPT, NPI and taxonomy codes will all be covered. This event is designed to assist you in maximizing your profit, staying on top of your billing, and creating systems to streamline your medical billing processes.
Attendees of this workshop will be able to:
- Understand the basics of insurance billing process and guidelines for natural medicine providers
- Understand the need for assuring all documentation, benefits and responsibilities related to insurance verification are completed prior to the initial visit
- Manage medical chart outlines and guidelines, fee tickets, Superbills, and HCFA/CMS 1500 forms

Alexandria Caton-Steele is an experienced certified medical coder at MTSL Group. Previously, she was the office manager of a naturopathic clinic where she oversaw many modalities of practice, and created and implemented all billing processes.
