  Welcome! I’m Dr. Rachel, a dedicated fertility naturopathic doctor and licensed acupuncturist passionate about empowering individuals and couples on their journey to optimal reproductive health. With a holistic approach that merges the wisdom of traditional medicine with modern science, I specialize in gynecology, pregnancy, menopause, pelvic floor health, and hormonal balance. My journey into functional medicine began with my own diagnosis of polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), and my first-hand experience of how unique and effective our medicine really is. With the support of amazing naturopathic and Chinese medicine practitioners, I learned about the root cause of my symptoms and I was able to heal in a way that was life-changing. I am deeply committed to supporting my patients achieve their health goals and sustain a state of well-being. Skill Set and Training: I bring a diverse set of skills and extensive training to my practice, including: -Pelvic Floor Therapy: Focused on strengthening and rehabilitating pelvic floor muscles to enhance genitourinary health and overall wellness. -Acupuncture: Using this ancient practice to promote balance, relieve stress, and to support fertility and other conditions. -Preventative Care: Annual exams including breast and pelvic exams with pap smear, blood work, and mammogram if necessary. -Nutritional Counseling: Offering tailored dietary guidance to optimize metabolic health. -Herbal Medicine and Nutraceuticals: Integrating both Chinese and Western botanicals, along with professional supplements, to support hormonal health and enhance fertility outcomes -Intrauterine insemination: Providing in-office assisted reproductive technology using fresh or frozen sperm to achieve conception. -Pharmaceuticals: Prescribing medication based on patient need and preference, including use of ovulation induction medications, contraception, and menopause hormone therapy when appropriate.
